Do not worry about making a reservation or paying a fee.  Rotary Park is a quiet forgotten little park nestled in downtown Regina and is sandwiched between Wascana Creek and Bridge Avenue near the bustle of downtown Regina.  Just west of the Victoria Street Bridge, there is ample parking on Bridge Avenue.  This is a delightful setting for a small gathering for a wedding ceremony.  The park is shaded with trees and is really only visited by joggers on the bicycle path that winds through this little piece of urban forest. One of Regina's worst-kept secrets is the Kiwanis Waterfall Park. Located on Regina Avenue and Elphinstone, about five blocks east of the Lewvan (and Regina's Airport); the park is a picture-perfect setting for small to mid-size wedding ceremonies. Kiwanis Park is a public park that is cared for by the City of Regina. Couples can book the use of this small cozy park for one-hour time periods. There is power available for sound systems as well. The park is serviced by two separate parking lots, and there is an upper park area that is perfect for small family picnics.

The park is an ideal setting for weddings involving a guest list of four to fifty participants; parking, and availability becomes a factor as the guest list grows. One factor to take into consideration is that the falling water creates a lot of background noise that is challenging for larger groups of people to hear. If you are conducting a wedding service with over 20 guests, you make wish to consider rental sound equipment for the wedding service.

Reservations for the park are handled by the City of Regina.

Wedding Venue: The “Wascana Bandshell” in Wascana Centre near Royal Saskatchewan Museum

The “Wascana Bandstand” in Wascana Park 

Nestled in Wascana Park between the Royal Saskatchewan Museum and Wascana Swimming Pool is the Wascana Bandstand.  A beautiful setting for a wedding whether rain or shine.  Literally, 2 minutes walk from Wascana Drive.  This facility can be reserved through the Wascana Park Authority. 

You can bring in chairs to sit over 100 guests.

The bandstand allows all to see the wedding ceremony.

Wedding Venue: Faford's Circle of Arches on University of Regina's University Drive North

Right on Wascana Lake, north of the main campus for the University of Regina, is located an unique art treasure.  Joe Farford has created a art masterpiece that serves as a perfect setting for a wedding ceremony.  There is room for lots of guests and ample parking available on University Drive North.  Joe Farford as named this art structure "Le Jardin de L'Esprit".  This is a special place that is not that well known yet easy to find and appreciate.

The Trafalgar Fountain located in Wascana Centre was originally one of a pair designed by Sir Charles Barry, R.A., architect of the British Houses of Parliament. These fountains played in Trafalgar Square, in London, England from 1845 to 1939, when they were removed to make way for larger fountains.  A marvelous setting for a wedding service that provide a scenic view as well as ample parking and accessibility.
